Annual Better Business Bureau Integrity Awards
Presented by Best Buy
The 2011 BBB Integrity Awards were held on Monday, October 24 at
the Guthrie Theater in downtown Minneapolis.
Recipients
of the 2011 award were announced live during the ceremony. In
addition to recognizing the 2011 Integrity Award finalists, the BBB
also awarded two Student of Integrity Scholarships to high school
seniors who demonstrated (through essay) their understanding of the
impact an ethical decision has had on their life.
Ron James, President and CEO of the Center for Ethical Business
Cultures at the University of St. Thomas was the keynote speaker,
and Lee Valsvik, on-air talent for KOOL108 was the event emcee.

The Better Business Bureau of Minnesota and North Dakota
presents the Integrity Award each year to companies who display
outstanding ethics and integrity toward their employees, vendors
and customers, as well as their community. The Integrity Award is
open to all for-profit businesses located within the Minnesota and
North Dakota region.
The
2011 finalists were announced in late August and winners
were announced live at the awards ceremony. The BBB also
honored the recipients
of the Student of Integrity scholarships , which were given to
high school seniors who demonstrated (through essay) the positive
impact an ethical decision made in their lives.
